On Saturday, September 23rd, 2023, Callie Langmead became the first female to coach in the St. John's Junior Hockey League. Langmead previously served as the Trainer for the Northeast Eagles, the team she is now Assistant Coach for.

Joining Langmead this season as the only three female bench staff in the SJJHL is Alex Gamble (Trainer - Northeast), and Melanie Peddle (Trainer - St. John's).
